How shipping & processing works
Processing (1–2 days): Your order is prepared for shipment. You'll receive a processing confirmation email.
Tracking: Your tracking number will be active once the order is dispatched and the courier accepts the shipping information.
Shipping methods: USPS, DHL, AUSPOST, Royal Mail, Canada Post, New Zealand Post (selected based on your location).
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, some routes may take longer than usual. We use worldwide warehouses to ensure quickest delivery to your location.
Taxes & import fees
Most customers are not charged import fees, duties, or VAT.
Some countries (e.g. Italy, Germany, UK) may enforce fees per their import laws. FreeTheLace is not responsible for these charges — they're determined by your country's customs laws.
What if delivery fails?
You're responsible if:
- Address is incorrect, insufficient, or incomplete
- Email or phone number is incorrect (prevents delivery contact)
- Multiple delivery attempts made but you didn't receive it
- Recipient unknown at address
- You refuse the delivery
- Item unclaimed at post office
Deductions: Original shipping, return shipping, import fees, plus restocking fee (2.9% + $0.30). PayPal fees also not refunded.
If delivery is confirmed with tracking evidence but you claim non-receipt, FreeTheLace cannot help.
